kerrill thornhill, FOUNDER

Kerrill Thornhill is the company founder and CEO of MEG.  With over 20 years product development experience, Kerrill has scoped, designed and implemented digital solutions for hospitals in the U.K., Ireland, U.S. and Australia.  

Kerrill leads the MEG team to deliver engaging digital solutions that help to create a culture of continuous quality improvement for healthcare clients. He is passionate about the transformative impact of technology on the delivery of care, with a specific focus on making life easier for frontline workers.  His mission is for MEG’s end-to-end quality management system to have a positive impact on quality and patient safety worldwide.

peter clifford, chief operating officer

Since completing his MBA in INSEAD, France in 2002, Peter has been scaling businesses across Spain, France and Middle East. During this period, his remit involved hiring and building new teams, as well as rapidly growing customer acquisition with a particular focus on Sales, Marketing and Operations Management. His passion is winning new customers and driving loyalty by delivering excellence in customer experience. Peter has solid experience in People Management: hiring, coaching and motivating talented international staff. Peter speaks Arabic, French, and Spanish.

Edel Churchill, Head of MarketinG

Edel Churchill graduated from the University of Manchester in 2001. A self-confessed tech geek, Edel enjoys working across teams to bring great products to market. 

Prior to MEG, Edel held a variety of demand generation and lead nurturing roles across startups and SMEs in the Middle East, aligning marketing strategy with business revenue objectives and building out systems for scaling growth.

Previous to that, she had a 10-year career in dentistry on the frontline of primary care (in both the UK (NHS) and in the Middle East) before retraining and successfully transitioning into healthcare and technology marketing.

MICHAL DABSKI, CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER

With a solid foundation in technology, Michal has cemented his position as the CTO of MEG. A top graduate from DIT, Michal has consistently showcased his prowess in the technological landscape, driving MEG's vision forward with determination and precision since the formation of the company.

Beyond his professional commitments, Michal possesses a deep appreciation for nature and outdoor activities. He often finds balance in his rigorous work schedule by cycling through scenic trails or kayaking in serene waters. Such activities not only provide a break from the digital world but also fuel his perspective, providing a fresh outlook on challenges. In quieter moments, Michal can be found engrossed in a book, playing tunes on his guitar, or engaging in a DIY project.


ANGELA CUTHILL, business development

After graduating with a Masters Degree in Sydney Australia, Angela relocated to Ireland in 2000 and has gained extensive experience in product development and branding; specialising within a creative SME native company environment. 

Angela’s most recent role has been as a creative and marketing lead at artysmarty, the Irish women’s jewellery brand, creating a portfolio collection as well as working with clients such as The Victoria & Albert Museum, The British Library, Kilkenny stores, The National Gallery and IMMA. Her role at MEG is focused on building a global brand for MEG's clinical tools platform of products and developing a strong customer base in Ireland and internationally.

Anna Gularska, customer success Manager

Anna holds a Master’s Degree from the Institute of Library and Information Science in Digital Libraries and has also completed postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Management, Computer Science and Finance. During her studies, Anna worked for the Scientific Information Dept. at Wroclaw University Library and since graduation, she has been working in the IT sector.

Previous roles held by Anna have included e-commerce administrator for Medicsoft company and as an IT Support Engineer (User Authorization Support) with the Infrastructure and Operation Department for Volvo IT. Her experience also encompasses back-end software development, testing, application content management and project management. At MEG, her focus is on user experience and high standard, bug-free product development.


GUVANCH MEREDOV, HEAD of Corporate tenders and security governance

Guvanch serves as our Head of Corporate Tenders and Security Governance. He holds an MSc with Distinction in Engineering Business Management from the University of Warwick and has worked in the technology sector ever since. His research into consumer appeal of product creativity and innovation has been published in Germany in 2017. Suffering from a potentially fatal acute chronic illness has motivated Guvanch to invest and grow his technology background and expertise in the digital healthcare industry. Guvanch is a strong believer in the cause of utilising technology to optimise frontline healthcare workers’ time and doing so adhering to most stringent security standards.

Besides his daily job, Guvanch is passionate about staying fit and healthy through CrossFit, painting and attending art galleries and museums, and travelling as much as possible

MARK O’REILLY, chief information officer

An enthusiastic software developer who enjoys building products that have a meaningful impact on the world. Prior to joining MEG, Mark worked on building web apps in the backup and disaster recovery industry.

His expertise is varied; having graduated from Dublin City University in 2014 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Mark worked as a marketer, business development manager and later as a category manager, before making the jump into software development.

Mark’s two passions are trail-running and sea swimming.


VICKY ROVIRA, COMPANY ADMIN + MARKETING

Vicky graduated with a Bachelors degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics at the National University of Costa Rica. Her passion for working to help others grew after becoming interested in developing projects improving students the quality of life during their university experience.

Before relocating to Ireland, Vicky worked in the hospitality industry for more than 16 years
and has held either administrative and customer service positions, with her most recent position as a co-manager in a boutique hotel. With a strong focus on service within her roles she undertakes, Vicky excels and takes satisfaction in helping others, regardless of whether they know she is involved or not. At MEG, her focus is bringing this quality service and passion to clients.

ANGELINE ROCHA, CUSTOMER SUCCESS

Nursing graduate, Angeline has always been passionate about everything involving technology and computing. After moving to Ireland to study English in 2016, she decided to follow her passion and completed a Higher Diploma in Computing at the National College of Ireland. By 2022, her continuing education will mean she will graduate with a Master’s Degree in Applied Software Development.

By providing Customer Support at MEG, Angeline is keen to help healthcare institutions improve quality, as well as engage staff to easily follow healthcare guidelines. Angeline’s role focuses on onboarding new clients, setting up forms and dashboards. She also tests new product features for development to ensure users have a smooth experience with MEG. Her main interests are programming, languages, traveling and music.


DAVID SCULLY, Product manager

David works closely with clients understanding requests and gathering requirements for new functionality. With his strong technical and product knowledge, David serves as the main communication link between our Customer Success and Development teams.

In 2017 David transitioned into software development via Portlaoise College and Athlone AIT.

David joins the med-tech world as an expert problem solver after a successful career as a professional poker player which saw him reach as high #3 in the Irish Poker Rankings.

Paulina parga, customer success

Having graduated as a nurse in Chile, and with a Master’s degree and a couple of diplomas under her belt, Paulina has racked up nearly 8 years’ experience working in hospitals, mostly as a PACU & Theatre nurse. Paulina joined MEG when she relocated to Ireland and is very eager to bring all her healthcare experience, and to explore and learn all there is to know about quality management field. At MEG, she is part of the customer success team, working closely with her clients and doing all she can to understand and meet their needs.

In her spare time, you will find her expressing her creative side with her latest art and craft project, baking tasty treats or running along the seashore in Galway city. At weekends, she’ll be on her bike or on top of a mountain in Connemara.


Nabeel deek, Regional Development Manager, MIDDLE EAST & AFRICA

Working exclusively with quality management solutions in the healthcare IT sector for 9 years, Nabeel possesses valuable experience and expertise in all areas of the business. He has been responsible for the management of multiple accounts in the Middle East where he has a track record of surpassing sales goals as well as identifying and developing new business opportunities.

Nabeel comes from a Computer Science Engineering background and has brought knowledge of areas including marketing, development and patient safety to the Medtech industry. Detail-oriented, analytical and results-driven with well-developed strategic planning and delegation abilities, Nabeel is determined to perform at his best and provide customer satisfaction.

Jad Zakka, Customer Success

Jad holds two degrees in Management and Marketing from the American University in Dubai and has spent 9 years working in various marketing, production and operations roles in the Middle East.

Speaking three languages fluenty (English, Arabic and French), Jad makes a wonderful addition to the Customer Success team and is perfectly positioned to support onboarding, training and product needs across Europe and the Middle East.

In his spare time Jad enjoys listening to classical and soft rock music, traveling, and gaming; mostly real-time strategy (RTS) games like Hearts of Iron and Age of Empire for anyone who wants to join in!


Lauren D’Souza, Customer Success

Born and raised in Perth, Western Australia, Lauren is an experienced perioperative scrub scout nurse (BSc Nursing, GradCert Perioperative Nursing) with a demonstrated history of working as a paediatric ENT Clinical Nurse in both public and private hospitals since 2007.

She held a quality improvement role as a part of her portfolio which included conducting departmental clinical audits and is passionate about using a cloud based solution for quality improvement and spreading the word with other healthcare professionals. Lauren is a member of MEG Customer Success team, assisting healthcare organisations throughout the APAC Region.

Outside of work she can be found spending quality time exploring the local river and playgrounds with her husband and three daughters, enjoying a hot coffee, and cooking up a storm!

 

 

Mariabeluz Suarez, Customer Success

Originally from Mexico, Mariabeluz is our representative for Latin America and Europe, assisting MEG customers and piloting healthcare facilities with implementation and support. She discovered her love for programming and problem solving while completing a Master’s degree in Applied Software Development in CCT College Dublin.

When not working, some of her favourite things to do are hiking, meditation, swimming and listening music.


 

Çağın Çilingir, customer success

Originally from Turkey, Cagin worked as a qualified G.P. in a variety of roles including urgent care, health at home and staff safety before moving to Dublin.

Having seen the importance of technology working as a doctor in hospitals, Çağın is passionate about combining healthcare and IT and made the leap to healthtech in 2022.

In his spare time he enjoys practicing yoga, cultural activities and attending a party or two!


 

Helga Morrow, Business Development Manager

Helga has a degree in Pure Economics from University College Dublin and comes to MEG having worked with infection prevention teams in healthcare since 2011. Prior to this she worked in hospitality in both event management & finance roles.

Helga has previously worked with clients in the Irish, UK and US markets and enjoys developing customer relationships. She is enthusiastic about introducing clients, both current & new, to the wider range of MEG products.

Outside of work, you can find her hanging out with family & friends. More recently she has become a fledgling balcony gardener and loves a good decluttering session.


 

Robert Smyth, Head of Implementation

A graduate of Glasgow School of Art, and post graduate of Homerton College, University of Cambridge, Robert has an extensive background of designing and implementing process and quality improvements across a broad range of sectors including Healthcare Management, Education, and ICT.

A qualified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and JCI Chapter Lead, he brings assurance and governance to the implementation process.

When not working, he is often found fencing, and equally often found being resoundingly beaten on the piste by his sons.


 

Cássia Santos, Customer Success

Cássia holds a bachelor's degree in Industrial Design Visuals, with a focus on consumer behavior. Prior to moving to Ireland, she was involved in corporate event marketing for pharmaceutical companies in southern Brazil.

Most of her professional experience has been in the marketing and healthcare fields. She has since graduated with a higher diploma in Software Development, at the National College of Ireland as well as, undertaking a professional diploma in UX Design, at Dublin’s UX Design Institute.

Her main interests include cycling, outdoor activities, crafts, and travel.


 

Mauricio Petri, Regional Business Development Manager, Latin America and Spain

An executive with more than 15 years of experience in Product and Service Quality Management, Mauricio leads New Business Development for MEG in Latin America and Spain.

Over his career Mauricio has led international accreditation projects in Healthcare Organizations, Joint Commission International and European Organization of Cancer Institutes and digital transformation projects for quality management in healthcare organizations, electronic medical records, AI for automatic detection of adverse events and risk management efficiency projects with RPA tools.



 

Emma Duggan, Senior Marketing Executive

Emma has worked in marketing for 8 years after graduating with a Degree in Communications and Public Relations. During downtime in lockdown Emma also completed a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing with UCD Professional Academy and the Digital Marketing Institute.

Before joining the MEG team, Emma worked in B2C and B2B industries, most recently in luxury hospitality and prior to that in business cloud communications.

When not working, Emma’s main interests are travelling and sightseeing (at home and abroad), cooking, watching rugby (definitely not playing!) and exercising.


GAYLE HEARNE, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Gayle is an IADT grad and started her career as a screenwriter working on a variety of Irish-based projects before transitioning to the IT sector and SaaS. With over a decade of experience working in business development across a range of sectors including advertising, and hair & beauty, making the leap into medtech and an industry that has a meaningful impact on all our lives was a long-held personal dream.

Prior to joining MEG, Gayle worked with Google as a growth consultant and with several Nordic DBaaS companies in the Nordics.

Based in Dublin, Gayle is currently obsessed with renovation and all things she-IY, training her new puppy Roisin out of chewing every possession she owns, and loves travelling, weightlifting, and antique restoration.


JOANNA WASIELA, SOFTWARE TESTER

A finance and accounting graduate of the Krakow University of Economics and a holder of the Chief Accountant Certificate, Joanna worked as an accounting specialist for six years.

Two years ago, she changed her line of work, but her scepticism, sensitivity to the smallest details, meticulousness and self confessed stubbornness, which she has developed along the way, remain and prove extremely useful in her position as a software tester. She enjoys watching things burn.

In her spare time, Joanna cannot imagine life without cycling, regular exercise, exploring the world, music and cinema. At home, Joanna is also a proud cat mother, with her second little one on the way.


 

NICOLÁS ARAOZ, CUSTOMER SUCCESS

Hailing from Argentina, Nicolás has over 12 years experienCe working directly with clients in a technical capacity including 8 years at Oracle managing Oracle partners, helping them to develop their business.

A self confessed lover of the tech world, Nicolás is currently studying programming.

Aside from work and studying, Nicolás plays drums and guitar and enjoys travelling.


Karen Martinez, Senior Marketing Executive

Following her graduation in Psychology, Karen embarked on a professional journey in the mental health landscape in Latin America. Subsequently, she gained valuable experience in the SaaS industry by venturing across Canada, Germany, France, and Ireland, thereby shaping her career in the realms of digital marketing and user experience for small startups and the broader tech landscape.

Throughout her career, Karen has held various roles encompassing content marketing, content localisation within LATAM, SEO, email automation, comprehensive customer experience and support. Additionally, Karen has demonstrated expertise in video content optimization and formulating social media strategies.

Outside of work, Karen enjoys the great outdoors and all things nature especially bird watching and photography.


FIONA COX, IMPLEMENTATION SALES SPECIALIST

Fiona graduated with BSc (hons) in Environmental Health from DIT in addition to completing a BSc (hons) in Management Practice with University of Ulster. This has provided Fiona the opportunity to work in a number of sectors from HSE, Local Authorities, Aviation & Social Housing in the areas of management & safety and risk management, conducting statutory audits, providing safety briefings and managing and mitigating against risk across a number of areas, in addition to to being a point of contact for multiple stakeholders.

Fiona has had experience leading high performing teams in the area of Social Housing. During this time,  Fiona grew an interest in the technology sector and realised the benefits and cost efficiencies when the right software is employed. This has led Fiona to exploring a keen interest in form development, web development and dashboard analytics to support future organisations become more robust, efficient and cost effective.

In her free time Fiona enjoys spending time with her family/friends & walking her dog, and travelling.

 

José Najera, IT Project Manager

Originally from El Salvador, José made a life-changing move to Ireland in 2016, where he achieved a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Information Technology with a focus on data analytics at CCT College. With 9 years of diverse experience in both technology and commercial sectors, his true passion lies in turning data into actionable insights and new projects. José has successfully established collaborative working groups across different departments, including IT, Commercial, Finance and Customer Service, ensuring the success of the projects. With focus on analytics, problem-solving, data-driven decision-making, and effective project management.

Beyond his professional life, José passionate about emerging technology and enjoy socialising with friends. In his free time, he likes to engage in activities such as cooking, listening to music, cinema, and exploring new places through travel.


Umanga Bulumulla, Software Tester

Born in Sri Lanka, Umanga is a graduate of Curtin University, Australia in computer systems and networking. She holds 12+ years of experience in quality assurance and throughout her career, Umanga has played different roles in QA with industry standards. She joined MEG as a Software Tester and is always determined to perform at her best and provide her knowledge within the team.

She is a team player and loves to work all the time. At MEG her focus is to ensure our product is bug free product and top quality.

Umanga recently became a mother to a baby girl and in her spare time she enjoys cooking, dancing and traveling the world.


Aaron - Our Team

Aaron Hickey - Software Engineer

Aaron holds a BSc in Computational Thinking from Maynooth University and is passionate about the practical and sustainable use of computer automation.

He came to MEG after 6 years at Metaswitch Networks in Belfast, where he worked on internal automation tools and web apps across several international teams.

At MEG, he uses his problem solving skills and software experience to deliver bug fixes and customer requested features and enhancements.

Outside of work, he likes tea, videogames, playing the drums, cycling through the countryside, and looking after the local stray cats.


Dan Jones - UK Customer Success

Based in London UK, Dan works in the Customer Success team providing support to our UK based clients and on-boarding new clients. Dan joins us with years of experience in Governance and has developed in depth knowledge of Governance functions including incident management, complaints, audits, risk management and health & safety. Prior to working for MEG, he worked in the governance teams at The Wellington Hospital the UK’s largest private hospital and a part of Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) and more recently at Doctor Care Anyway, a digital healthcare company. Dan started his career in the National Health Service (NHS) working in operations and governance.

Although based in London, Dan spends a lot of time in Dublin, Ireland where his partner is from and enjoys meeting his Ireland based colleagues for a rare break from family life (two kids!).


Samantha Amodio - Graphic Designer

Samantha is an Italian Visual Designer based in Dublin. Her work is mainly focused on visual identities, communication for events and editorial design. Everything she creates is client and user experience based. She also has a passion for packaging, illustration, photography, video editing and animation design.

Samantha completed a BA degree in Graphic & Editorial Design and a MA degree in Visual Communication Design at the Academy of Fine Arts of Catania. In Dublin, she completed the Professional Diploma in UX Design at the UX Design Institute.

When she’s not dealing with design-related projects, you can find her cooking for her loved ones, gardening or trying out a new creative interest, like sewing clothes.


Mahdi Khrrousheh - Developer

Mahdi is a passionate and highly motivated developer with a strong technical background and multidisciplinary experiences in research and various technologies.

Aiming to leverage theoretical and practical knowledge from computer science and organizational fields, including a bachelor's degree and training in modern technologies, to develop microservices capable of operating in intelligent environments. Inspired by artificial intelligence and machine learning systems, dedicated to contributing to a better future.


Jullie Ferreira - Implementation Specialist

Graduated in Animal Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, Jullie is definitely an animal lover, but she found her true passion when she started working as a Customer Support Specialist at TransPerfect in 2021. This role allowed her to closely interact with customers, developing her soft skills and problem-solving abilities.

Currently, Jullie is studying programming and wishes to learn other languages.

In her free time, Jullie enjoys listening to good music and spending time with her friends. She also keeps her artistic side alive by modeling with air-dry clay and creating watercolor paintings.


Chamin Od - Implementation Specialist

With a BA in Psychology from the National University of Mongolia and a MA in Human Resource Management from NCI Dublin, Chamin worked as an assistant researcher part-time during her studies, and worked as a social care worker while doing her post-graduate.

As someone who enjoys solving issues and getting challenged, Chamin is enjoying the varied tasks the implementation team face and the opportunity to learn new things every day. She credits her colleagues on the implementation team as very supportive and friendly which makes her work way easier and her days happier.

As well as yoga, reading, playing board games, and hiking, Chamin likes to try new things any chance she gets. Some of these activities include paragliding and attending a silent meditation week away, things that are not part of her normal day to day.


Marcos Cilleruelo Beltran - Developer

Marcos is a dedicated DevOps Engineer with a talent for optimizing deployments, architecture, and monitoring systems. He holds a degree in Computer Systems Engineering, having graduated from UPM in Madrid in 2021.

Marcos is passionate about learning new technologies and continuously improving his skills. He enjoys the challenges that come with automating processes and enhancing system efficiency.

Outside of work, Marcos loves hanging out with friends, going for runs, and cooking. Experimenting with new recipes and exploring different cuisines are some of his favorite pastimes.


Joseph O’Hanlon - Developer

Joseph is a passionate and innovative Machine Learning Engineer with over four years of experience in the field. Graduating with First Class Honors in Electronic & Computer Engineering from NUI Galway, Joseph excels at turning complex problems into practical solutions.

At Jaguar Land Rover, Joseph made significant contributions through projects like the Early Detection 2 initiative, as well as developing the Feature & Anomaly Detector (FADEr), a project focused on feature selection and auto data cleaning for engine calibration, optimising engine performance. His expertise in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and GCP has been instrumental in delivering these high-impact solutions. Joseph has also built an Android and iOS social app, which is set to launch soon.

When he's not working, Joseph enjoys kickboxing and other martial arts, gaming, and DIY projects.


Sean Welch - Software Engineer

Sean is a passionate software engineer who thrives on solving problems and exploring innovative solutions. He attended Trinity College Dublin, where he graduated with an honours degree in Business and Economics. Driven by a passion for technology and its capacity to transform industries, Sean transitioned into software development.

Sean's journey began with developing a robust web application for a wholesaling business, where he honed his development skills and learned the nuances of creating user-centric solutions. Sean embraced the challenges of building scalable microservices on AWS while working as a developer in the EdTech sector, enhancing data solutions for higher education.

Outside of technology, Sean is an avid practitioner, instructor and competitor in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and wrestling. His dedication to martial arts is paralleled by his enthusiasm for all things outdoors and fitness-related.


Franciscah Heii - Customer Success

Franciscah was born and bred in Botswana and graduated in Information Technology at NIIT/Botho College. She is passionate about Science, Technology, User Experience and Customer enablement, with 7 years of experience in Customer Service gained in the Hospitality and Postal Services industries.

Franciscah relocated to Ireland and earned an Honors Degree in Computer Science from DBS in 2019 & a Higher Diploma in Software Development from Code Institute in 2022. She enjoys building personal projects, welcoming challenges, and solving problems. She joined MEG after 7 years working in the frontline as a healthcare worker.

Outside of work, she can be found hanging out with friends, running, nature walking, playing tennis, and caring for her plants as a plant mom.


Camilla McGoldrick - Implementation Specialist

Camilla was born and raised in Recife, Brazil, where she enjoyed the gym, the beach, and music, from pop to 80s classic rock. She now lives in Omagh, Northern Ireland, with her husband and two kids, and enjoys karaoke, Formula 1, documentaries, and podcasts.

Since 18, Camilla has mostly worked in customer service but has always been passionate about technology. At 15, she coded her own websites about bands and TV shows she liked. Pursuing this passion, she started a course with SheCodes, which expanded her knowledge in coding and software. Camilla also learned English by herself by watching movies and listening to music. Camilla describes herself as very competitive towards herself and enjoys a good challenge.


 

Gerdy Magno - technical support specialist

Based in the Philippines, Gerdy an IT graduate, specializing computer hardware. He been in the industry of assisting clients offshore for a decade now, within that span of time, he has upskilled and learned a lot about customer service and technical skills.

What Gerdy enjoys about his role here in MEG is how we interact with client and how we are always building our relationship with them.

Gerdy's hobbies consists of just staying at home, playing video games and watching movies! He loves pets mostly dogs, but right now has what he describes as two fat cats!


Elizabeth Braybrook - Implementation Specialist

Elizabeth has 12 years experience working in Clinical Effectiveness, dealing mainly with clinical audit and NICE in NHS hospitals and in a mental health trust. Elizabth has also spent two years working as IT support in a GP surgery.

Based in Cambridgeshire with her husband and 3 sons, Elizabeth is well connected to Ireland as her family is from Co. Kerry. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, walking my her greyhounds and paddleboarding.

Bruce, serial entrepreneur

Bruce hails from Gort in County Galway and has been living in Dublin since he was 2 months old. This is Bruce’s first venture into the tech world, with a previous experience in modelling and waste generation.

His special interests lie in chasing a squeezy ball, mauling a hot pink flamingo and resting. He provides lap warmth in winter and has a keen intellect, particularly when it comes to ‘business’.

He has absolutely no qualifications.
